I created this blog to have a place to track my progress on a 2008 LSTA grant funded project entitled “Enhancing Library Services via Podcasts, Screencasts, and Vodcasts.” I also wanted a place to link to other information I’m gathering for the project, as well as photos I’ll be taking of all of the equipment I’ll be purchasing. Ideally, I hope this will end up to be a guide for other library systems or libraries which might want to do a similar project, as I intend to post what worked, what didn’t, what I would do differently, etc. along with the specifics of what is accomplished throughout the project.
I’m so excited to have been given this opportunity to experiment with ‘casting tools and to be able to share it with all of the OWLS member libraries! If you’d like more information about the project, visit the About page.
